Their menu features a range of delectable dishes prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our meal started of with a shellfish bisque wich was truly delightful. As a main, we chose the famous Cabrito (baby goat) served with potatoes and vegetables. This is one of the best dishes we had in entire Porto. Abadia do Port is also famous for their Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá and Tripas à moda do Porto, which apparently are the best in the world. We finished the meal off with a Serra de Estrella cheese, which in my opinion is the best Portugese cheese. We started the meal off with some fried sardines which we did not try before. The taste was salty and fatty, and balanced perfectly with the fresh lemon. With a focus on grilled chicken and traditional Portuguese dishes, Pedro Dos Frangos has been a local favorite for years. Their succulent grilled chicken, accompanied by flavorful sides, is a must-try. We made a reservation in advance, but when arriving both people with and without reservations were put in the same queue (in other words dont bother making a reservation). We had to wait around 10 minutes before we were seated. The chicken was delicious and one portion of the Frango was enough to feed two. The Piri Piri hot sauce was tangy and spicy, exactly what you would want out of a hot sauce. The restaurant’s casual setting and affordable prices make it an ideal spot for a satisfying meal in Porto.
